We’ve seen a number of car carrier mishaps, and typically one or more cars are separated from the trailer. But not this load of Pontiacs, which are still all in place, despite the wild ride on the truck’s side down that snowy embankment.

I wonder if the car on the top in the back was perhaps salvageable. If the wrong turn was at a slow enough speed, with the snow cushioning the fall… maybe? Fun to speculate, anyway.
Better get the carfax if one of these shows up on a lot.

Those look to have been new 1946 Pontiacs. Given the rabid, pent-up demand for new cars in those immediate postwar years, it’s a safe bet all were salvaged, repaired and sold to new owners, maybe at a discount.
Drive : Boss I am sorry but I can’t deliver the cars to the dealer, I have lost my left hand rear view mirror.
Boss : Your left hand rear view mirror, well you can drive without a left hand rear view mirror
Driver: No Boss the whole rig is lying on top of it.
