Whiskey Tango Foxtrot?
GMC DUKW?
Edit: on second thought, a vintage John Deere tractor?
Oh man, I recognize that…but can’t remember the name. We had a little family reunion on the Oregon Coast (like everyone else in late summer). My dad, grandfather and I went to the 2004 Powerland Steam-Up in Salem before we drove home our seperate ways (my dad to Park City, me to Boise, Pa to Anacortes).
Anyways, I remember that tractor (err…traction engine) with it’s kelly green color, British flag, and decidely deco-train styling (smooth lines, no grill), and very short wheel-base. I just can’t remember the make.
My grandfather was most excited about the old Texaco, since we had 3 generations of Texaco workers in the family and he was VP of Refining when he retired.
