Hi Paul, I know this is not the best place to post this, but do you know anything about this vehicle? It is awesome I think but the only thing I know for sure about it is that its supposedly a 1955 GMC L’Universelle.
Yes, I am quite familiar with it. What would you like to know? It was a precurser to the modern fwd minivan, using a pretty crazy system, with the Pontiac V8 feeding back to a V-drive, which sent power forward again to the front wheels. And a radiator under the roof. Not quite ready for prime time.

I mentioned it here, along with a cutaway drawing: https://www.curbsideclassic.com/curbside-classics-american/curbside-classic-1966-oldsmobile-toronado-gms-deadly-sin-16-lets-try-a-different-position/
Thanks Paul! That front end sure looks similar to GM’s later vans.
So thats what it looks like hard to tell from the cutaway
The clue? I was going to say a Ford Escort – the one with the off-center grille opening, but that had slanted louvers.
Thats an interior, with the top of a radio dial. looks VW or at least German.
VW first-series transporter/bus/kombi
I agree, old splitty VW transporter.

AH! I wish I would have checked this yesterday, I would have known exactly what it is!
I see this dash nearly every day!
