The Checker brought out many guesses. A lot of folks thought it was a 1967 Chevrolet, but principaldan brought home the bacon with his guess of the long-running taxi from Kalamazoo (zoo-zoo-zoo).

1965 Simca
Early 60’s Rootes-mobile, perhaps a Singer Vogue? Possibly a Series 5 or 6 Hillman Minx. Rootes definitely used those over-riders, and the shape of the bumper fits a late 50’s, early 60’s car.
