Are you up on your horns? Headlight surrounds? Good; that’ll be handy. Meanwhile, we didn’t have an actual winner on the W116, but peekay gets a highly honorable mention for suggesting it was a MB 240 or 300. For all I know, they used the same bumper skirts, or whatever you call those things.

That’s no G-Body Cutlass, horn is on inner fender.
I’m going to guess an A-Body 76 or 77 Cutlass, one with the slanted front-end…the S and 442.
And equipped for some demo derby.
I’m going with an 80 Cutlass.
A K-car of some sort, like an early 80s Mirada.
On second thought, maybe a custom job from the Red Green Show.
I don’t know, If Red did it there’d be at least a little Duct tape involved there.
Chicken wire? Something from one of those Mother Earth News back issues perhaps.
I hope this is what I think it is..
You are going to have to help us on this one, Paul. I cannot recall ever seeing a new car with a chicken wire grille.
Remember when Cadillac started doing the mesh grilles on the CTS and everyone happily noted that it was real wire mesh and not just plastic fake mesh?
I wonder if they’d be as happy to learn a car had a REAL chicken wire grille and not just fake plastic chicken wire…
It’s some kind of 80s K-car based thing.
