Ok, the score was quickly evened up. I Miss Manzy made the point, recognizing the 1960 Pontiac’s back deck trim details. No rust on this rear corner ( I don’t think I gave anything away by that). Looks a bit generic, eh? You can do it.

78ish Honda Accord?
Early ’80s, thinking an AMC product of some kind, or one of the Omni/Horizon twins. The allusion to “rust” makes me think it could be a Hyundai Excel, which would be mid-’80s, but then Hyundais until recently looked like something about five years out of date.
1981-1985 Mazda GLC 3dr?
Early 80’s Mazda 323
1981-ish Honda Accord Hatchback
I would say early to mid-80’s Nissan Maxima wagon.
KA series Ford Laser/Mazda 323 5 door hatch. Though it could be someyhing else in US.
Mazda GLC, circa 83ish
Id say 1980-82 Mazda 323 5 door wagon.
I want to say
TalbotChrysler Horizon but you just recently did one of those didn’t you?Another vote for a GLC (“Great Little Car!”).
Love them brown paint jobs on ’80s cars.
I’ll second suzulight’s pick: very early Accord hatchback.
It is a first generation FWD Mazda GLC, before the major redesign of 1986. I worked for Mazda at the time, a part time job while in university. Saw lots of them and they were Great Little Cars.
By the way, Paul, a great CC would be the ’86 GLC. These cars were fantastic, great performers and top quality everything.
I would like to think that I would have correctly guessed this as the GLC. It also reminds me of the 5 door Datsun/Nissan Stanza of the time, or was that a 510 back then?
