Despite some really good guesses, the awesome Marmon from this morning was not correctly identified. Similar to what is done with the lottery, today’s jackpot will be added to the proceeds for tomorrow’s contest.
Here is the clue for tomorrow – hopefully it gives you an indication of what it is. What jumps to mind?
1980-1982 Ford Thunderbird
I second that—T-bird for sure!
I’m going to have to go with 80-82 Thunderbird.
Blast! Too slow!
The easiest CC clue in the world?
Wait, you mean I’m RIGHT?
Will miracles never cease.
going to say looks like my grandma’s 81 T Bird, but everybody beat me too it.
1989-1990 Cadillac deVille
Not even posted an hour and I got beat out by 3 people with the same guess I have.
Of course, the 80-82 Blunderbird.
Early 80’s Thunderbird.
80-82 thunderbird
We must have all Spent days collectively looking at them wondering WHY Did FORD Do This? back in the day… i was stunned by how crappy it looked.
Another vote for the worst Thunderbird of them all, the 1980-1982.
Late out the gate again . . . . ’80-’82 Square/Fairmont/Fox-Bird for sure . . . . first glance might indicate a 1985-87 Caddy DeVille. . . .
Beige
Darn, I know a gorgeous ’82 Bird that would have been perfect for this! I should have posted it to the Cohort sooner! Looking forward to seeing this one.
OK, it’s on the Cohort now.
That’s easy — a 1961 Rambler Ambassador wagon.
Yet another sleepless night.
I have a whackjob theory involving this car, the Tempo, Sierra/XR4 and Probe III.
At first I thought it was my old ’84 Buick Century Olympic Edition coming back to haunt me, but I think they’re right about it being an ’82 or so Thunderbird.
The T-bird before the aero one.
For future reference, putting a CC clue on the page right after a full picture of the car makes it a little too easy…
Once the CC is up, the Clueing is over. I usually move it off the front page then, but didn’t get to it this morning.
The clue goes up the evening before and is a hint for the feature CC that will post at 7 am eastern time the following morning. I will confirm from experience that the clues are much easier to answer once the CC post has appeared. 🙂
