Despite a myriad of guesses (including a Boeing 737, homemade fiberglass concoction and Fairmont Futura–so close), no one got the Fox Cougar’s toupee landau roof. I will give an honorable mention to Dusk442 for his Futura guess.
I don’t think I’m really letting the cat out of the bag when I say tomorrow’s CC is probably a wagon. Do you know your woodgrains?
Looks like a 70’s vintage Ford with the Squire package. I’m doubting it’s an LTD, the curve at the top of the fender says either Torino/LTD II or Pinto.
Well, at least to me…
+1
Continuing from previous puzzle’s wild guesses, here’s my guess: A Riva speedboat!
1977 Ford LTD II Country Squire
Yes, 1977 LTD II Squire (no “Country” in the name when it’s an LTD II, I believe).
Pinto Squire?
’77 Cougar Villager.
It kinda looks like a dashboard glovebox.
Knowing that its not, going with Pinto.
I would have to say late 60’s Mercury. Probably a wagon, but I think they did some sedans with the same wood grain vinyl.
1972 Mercury Montego Villager
Chrysler Town & Country Minivan
The fender crease is wrong for any of the Ford guesses as far as I can tell.
I’m settling on a 1980 Toyota Cressida wagon. The crease and the fake wood moulding look correct to me.
Tom, you said “probably” a wagon. This is not some wood grain imposter like the wood grain Chevette is it?
How about a 1970-72 Pontiac LeMans Safari?
looks like a 68 ford country squire
83 Family Truckster.
1971-72 Country Squire.
On second thought it might be a Pinto.
