A generous Clue resulted in a rather rapid positive ID by mcc.pj on the Isuzu pick ’em up, despite the crunched front end and partially missing bumper.
What’s this one? A Volvo? A ’70s Datsun? Something else?

It looks like early 80’s GM. If I had to guess, I would say a 81 Oldsmobile Ninety Eight. Of course I could be in the total wrong continent.
It reminds me quite a bit of a car I used to wash, my Dad’s 1970 Olds Ninety-Eight.
1975 Caprice? Fender looks it, but the molding?
Olds Toronado
1979 Buick Century
Looks like an early 80’s Caddy to me
This isn’t a guess, but I thought it would be the best way to let you all know, especially Tom ( note the color), to check out this article in today’s NY Times.

Thanks for including the link. Great car and a great story!
Yes, what Tom said! I enjoyed reading it. 🙂
Right. This was a fun story about a fun car. Maybe it could be the subject of a CC here.
I think it could be a 1971-73 Buick Centurion but could be a 71-75 Impala/Caprice. Come think of it the lower fender crease was more prominent on the Chevy’s so it is probably one of them.
71-72 Cadillac… The crease is not sharp enough for an Olds
Addendum: 1971-72 Cadillac Eldorado
That’s a well cared for machine. Somebody’s baby fo’ sho. I’m going with 72 Imp.
Definitely not any of the 1977+ B, C, or D bodies (wish it was as I can never read enough about them!). It’s a “Brougham” type car whatever it is, from the 70’s.
1973 Cadillac Coupe de Ville. Maybe. (I now know that generous clues are more my forte…)
