Carmine got the Newport right off the bat. Pretty good considering he (along with CraiginNC) is our resident GM expert, rather than a Mopar Maven like our own JPCavanaugh.
This one was shot just hours before a major storm nailed my region back in late February. But I managed to get some pictures before this CC turned into a snow drift! What is it?
Cutlass Ciera International?
Late 80’s Olds Delta. The FWD H-Body model.
1980’s Olds Cutlass Ciera GT?
1990 Cutlass Supreme International
I’m thinking Subaru – a wagon of some kind…
1988 Cutlass Supreme International Series
Definitely an International-Series Olds from the late ’80s; I think it’s a 2-door Cutlass Supreme, let’s say 1989.
1991 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme SL Sedan.
1988 olds mobile ninety eight touring
Maybe just a Brougham since the touring has ribs.
Definitely a 1990+ Olds of some sort.
2004 Saab 9-8 …. little-known Saab logo’d Oldsmobile Alero with Subaru AWD drive train and Outback-like two tone paint,, briefly sold only in Colorado, Vermont and parts of Oregon, Washington and Northern California.
So THAT’S what finally bankrupted Saab! That kind of production line (especially moving the Alero dies from Lansing to Trollhättan) must have cost a pretty penny.
Actually, the Trollhattan trolls worked pro bono on this project.
I am no expert but I am not allowed to say since I have inside information…
