Yeah, I think you’ve got it. But just to be contrary, I’ll say it’s a Buick Roadmonster …. er… Roadmaster wagon. Same time frame. Just because of the trim around the tail lamp.
’92 – ’96 Roadmaster Estate Wagon. I’ve replaced that black trim on the tailgate of mine. I guess somebody could have bought a Caprice version, but why do so when a Buick is so much more satisfying?
Agree! +1 Former RMW owner here. Caprice used a cheaper all vinyl molding attached by molding tape where as the RMW used a cheaper piece of molding attached to a stainless steel molding that attached to the body with plastic clips and rivets. Post some more clues and I could probably narrow down the exact year of this wagon too.
So the difference between Buick and Chevy came down to a cheap vs. a cheaper approach to tailgate moldings?
Having owned an ’87 Chevy B-Wagon, I have a soft spot for these, especially in rust-free Southern California. (Mine was a Wisconsin road salt casualty.)
Yep, Buick RMW. Just on a wild guess i will say the rarer 95-96 with the Limited Package. Can not tell for sure without looking at the rearview mirrors and Hood Ornament. Just ran some errands in my 96 Limited.
91-96 Caprice wagon.

I’ll go even more contrary, the even rarer Custom Cruiser version.
