But no cigar, for MikePDX. Our own intrepid sleuthmeister called it a ’58 Ranchero. And more than likely, the detail I showed is identical to a ’58. So if he’d said “57 or ’58 Ranchero”, based on there being no difference (is there?) in that detail, I would have given him the win. Here’s another chance, Mike.

Awww, I don’t smoke cigars anyway. This photo says Subaru to me, but darned if I can place it. That beaver-tooth feature just seems Japanese somehow….
I’ll agree – I really want to say that this is a mid-to-late 70s Japanese product, but darned if I can find any examples of it now.
I’m thinking early Mazda. RX-4?
Looks like an early 1970s Toyota but I can’t pin it down.
Early 70’s Challenger??
1972 Toyota Corona.
Probably a Corona Coupe.
You got it, prof.
Mopar product from the Fuselage era. Couldn’t say which one.
1973 Datsun 610? Anyway, it’s definitely ’70s Japanese metal.
It probably isn’t a late-1970’s GMC pickup grille, but that’s what comes to mind.
