Well, the Jeep CJ2 was just too hard to find a Clue on. Or did I mean to say too easy? You know what I mean, hopefully. Now do you know what I’m meaning by showing you this here?
The 3-D Wildcat grille really had you going, and there were some excellent guesses. But in the end, Dr. Lemming was the one and only. Congratulations.
Austin Allegro?
Austin Marina or Morris Marina
@david42 the trunk lid slope is too shallow for an all aggro
Ah you beat me to it, so I’ll just have to settle for casting another vote for the Marina. Very distinctive booty on that one. 🙂
I go with Austin Marina- could there still be one around with paint on it?
Leyland Marina coupe damn way too late again
My first thoughts were Marina or Allegro too (quite a few Marinas still around down here, a few Allegros left too). But I’m not sure it is, as from memory Marinas have more vertical metal above the tail-lights; Allegro tail-lights didn’t continue under the bootlid opening. But the photo and colour seems so BL-like!
Pretty sure its the coupe version have to hope Paul says nothing unkind about them or the Leyland apologists club will be on the warpath
Opel kadett
Another vote for early 1970’s Opel Kadett 2 door.
Kadett gets my vote
VW 411 Fastback
Revision: Make that VW 412 Fastback
VW 412 was my first thought too, especially since that was a color it came in. But I’m late posting again.
I was thinking that as well. But when I read the above comments about the Austin, I doubted myself. But I’ll stick with this.
opel olympia A coupe
Must be an Allegro , though the Austin 1800 was similar but not offerred in such a vile colour.
for the ‘hell of it’ I am going to say Opel 1900/Ascona A 1973 or there about. I know the answer might be ‘up’ by now but….
