I’m running behind! The Ranchero clue was late, and so is this one. If I would just take a minute and plan out my week…but then I find something I just have to share right away, or some other car in my files suddenly shouts out at me…But no worries; I’m having a ball. And I haven’t suddenly gone bald either.

That looks like Toyota yellow. Either a Corolla or Tercel.

The tacked-on reflector says import (the domestics mostly tried to integrate them a bit). The yellow color has me hoping for a Datsun Honeybee (a great topic for a CC if there ever was one), but Google Image Search ruled that out. Maybe something British?
The side marker looks as though it’s straight out of the 1970s Mopar parts bin. Judging by the positioning low on the wheelarch and the jaunty yellow color (which I wouldn’t expect to see on a bigger car), I’d go with a later-model Plymouth Valiant…
+1 to the early ’70s Mopar guessers. I took enough of them off Darts and Valiants before they went into Daddy’s paint room. They were held on with two plastic studs onto which you threaded a pressed-steel nut. When they got old the plastic studs
would just wring off instead. Fun!
