Yes, Carmine you are correct! It’s the Mark VI, specifically the Bill Blass Edition that came with the spare under the hood. I remember this well because my Mother’s 79 Seville from that era had the spare tire that was in the owner’s manual pouch in the glove box:)
Citroen CX GTi, although I can’t for the life of me work out where that GTi badge is located though…maybe the C-pillar? Going by the bit of side mirror I’ll say it’s a 1985-91 Series 2 model. I hope so anyway, they’re mighty good looking!
One wiper and a spare tire under the hood….I’m going to go out on a limb and say Lincoln Mark VI?
Though its probably a Citroen.

I thought that was only on the diesels…..
Looks French. Maybe a Citroen CX?

Just a heads-up, we’re not supposed to post photos of guesses as it turns it into a game ender 🙂

Citroen CX though too late as usual.
Subaru Brat?
Yep, Citroen CX25 GTi – I used to own one 🙂
I’m guessing it’s not a GTi Turbo, or presumably we’d have been shown more badging.
I’ll go CX GTi as well, though my initial thought was a Visa GTi
you can see the reflection in the top picture
Think they could put the engine any further forward of the front wheels? Should have put a storage area behind it instead of that spare tire.
