A hearty congratulations to John Williams for identifying the Toyota Camry Richard Bennett brought us this morning. The speed and accuracy being seen in identifying the clue to the next Curbside Classic shows a lot of folks really know their stuff!
Here’s a tiny peek of tomorrow’s Curbside Classic. When I discovered this machine, I was in a big fizz to show it to you. What do you think popped up?
Ford. 1960s F650 (?) Cabover Bobtail truck. I don’t know the exact model number.
Hmmm… could be a Jeep wagon from the 1950s, with the Pepsi logo covering the gas cap on the right rear fender.
That’s what I was thinking (Willy’s, at least). That fender + body panel certainly has a Jeep-ish look to it.
It’s a Pepsi delivery truck!
I’m guessing a Divco, for no other reason than that it’s plausible. And with Divcos, the year doesn’t much matter.
Crosley wagon or flatside pickup truck.
It’s the new Pepsi edition Ford Explorer. Sits just below the Eddie Bauer
The body is plastic and not terribly well trimmed. I’d say it’s a toy.
Agreed. Toy Pepsi delivery truck.
Some kind of golf cart.
That’s a Studebaker Cruiser Wagoneer. 1964. Definitely.
