Grolar was the first person to correctly name today’s Renault 4 Curbside Classic. As a friendly reminder to everyone, don’t post pictures with your guess because it spoils the fun for others.
For whatever reason the picture I took for the clue turned out rather blurry. For an alternative, I’ve cropped something down. While there is the tail end of my Buick in the background, this certainly isn’t the car in question. However, could there be a relation or do I just need to learn to park outside of the picture? I have no doubt I could have shown just the wiper arm and somebody here would have figured it out.
’61-’69 Lincoln Continental
Early 1980’s Ford LTD/Mercury Marquis (Fox body)?
Looks like a XJ Wagoneer, like an ’84-86. Not sure if the ”87 up models had unpainted wiper arms.
1980 Ford Fairmont
Ford F-series?
First-gen VW Golf aka Rabbit or early 1980s Jetta?
I also taught of a Dodge Dart/Plymouth Valiant 4-door sedan.
Way too angular for an A1 VW, plus they never had working vent wings. M y first reaction was a K-car.
’80s Ford Ranger.
Early eighties Ford Crown Victoria/Mercury Marquis/Lincoln Town Car.
SJ platform Jeep. Color makes me think Grand Wagoneer.
I think I agree with this one, though seems they had larger drip rails. But it is too dated a design to be anything else above except for possibly the ’60s Continental, and I think that’s too tall a pane of glass for those. An SJ could look that way any time up to 1989. 🙂
wild guess….. ’67-’70 Valiant sedan
+1
It’s a Mopar A-body all right.
I will say a 66 or 67 Plymouth Belvedere or Dodge Coronet Sedan.
1978 Ford Fairmont
