It shouldn’t be too difficult. Despite the elephant, er, wing in the room.
A reminder from previous CC Clues: the rules of the Clue are no attached images or other “proof” of your guess. That’s so others can continue to keep guessing.
Ignoring the wing, the shape is like a 90’s Previa front end, but it had a black stripe below the windshield and side window (edit:
and a steeper slope).
I dont agree with any of the above guesses,
but have never gotten one of these right yet.
A 911 is close but I can’t reconcile the odd (metal?) trim at the bottom of the rear windshield. Plus the quarter window curve seems different.
Sure is an ugly spoiler in any case.
I was sure hoping it was an Aerovette Wankel (prototype) but that would be very rare on the street. Plus it ain’t a perfect match either.
Is the photo from Isreal? Not that it helps my guessing, just curious about the red curb paint.
I thought of that and dismissed it, but I believe you’re right. The moulding at the panel edge could be left over from a vinyl roof, which someone was bound to put on it in the 70’s, though I don’t believe the factory did.
The center of the spoiler is broken and rigged with a cut-down tent spike and a zip-tie!
Probably rules out a high-value supercar.
Still don’t know what ’tis.
Porsche 911?
It’s decidedly unaerodynamic, so I think not.
My first thought was some sort of Porsche with a motorized wing on it. But that one didn’t match anything I saw.
AMG GT
Rambler? 🙂

Dodge Stealth.
Tesla Plaid?

Yes, this is Israel. A red/white curb means no parking. Not to worry, the “clue” is parked opposite that.
The curve is like a Ford Pinto, but they had a wide, bare C pillar.
Chevrolet Monza ?

Sure resembles it or one of its GM siblings. The gloss black c pillar looks off and the wing is definitely aftermarket.
Man, that’s a skinny C-pillar though. But I got nothin’.

Me again.
It couldn’t be a googly Matador coupe could it?
Thank you all for participating, and I can say one of you has the right answer, or whereabouts… All shall be revealed tomorrow.
Since on of these is the right answer or close I’m going to take a shot at Porsche but a 924 possibly 944?
