Yesterday’s clue for the Maxi brought forth quite a lot of discussion. NZ Skyliner wondered if it was, Uncle Mellow followed up with a prayer that it was not. GlenH suggested that it could indeed be. DingleyDave was the first one sure enough of himself to come right out and call it in a declarative sentence. However, this is not the Jeopardy TV show (where all answers must be phrased in the form of a question), so we will not be sticklers here and will recognize the sharp eyes of all of the above.
Today, we have a nice, big picture of a commonly viewed area of a tomorrow’s CC. Take your best shot.
Volvo 760 wagon
I want to say a Honda/Acura product, because the temperlite window markings look exactly the same as on my Acura.
The photographer drives a Camry
If you’re referring to the car reflecting off the windows, that’s actually an Avalon.
You think? I don’t know, that crease in the upper fender says Camry or ES300
It’s a second gen Avalon(probably a 2001) I recognize the rear profile as a neighbor owns one and backs it in when he parks it so i see the thing first thing when i go out to work
Actually, I knew it was a Maxi, but I didn’t want to end yesterday’s guessing game straight away! 🙂 Today, however, I have no idea what this clue is, so I shall say it’s a car, possibly. I get Land Rover, Honda and Ford vibes from it, so I’m sure it isn’t any of those!
Gentlemen, let’s be clear that there will be no extra credit given for guessing the car reflected in the glass. The fabulous prize package to be awarded will be for the Clue subject, and nothing else. 🙂 And, let’s not be quite so quick to assume that the reflected car belongs to the photographer.
That’s right. JP drives a ’73 Matador wagon in burgandy with a 304.
But just until I can find a 64 Studebaker Wagonaire.
I imagined JP as a more refined gent driving a 1980 AMC Concord with a full vinyl roof and very Broughamy seats.
All I know is that the car looks to be black and silver, possibly from the 80’s, and that the photog’s shirt is green. 🙂
Other than that, I have no stinkin’ clue here today.
Also, it looks like it might be a rear side door of a wagon perhaps, judging by the quarter glass pane in the door frame, and what looks to be a cargo area window of some kind.
Some Renault sold by AMC.
another wild guess…lets hope my luck stays – 1979-1980 chrysler R-body New Yorker… or a plain fifth avenue from the 1980s
1990’s Honda Odyssey?
+1. And I’ll throw in a guess that it’s a 1994 model.
I think it’s some sort of a Japanese crew cab pickup
1987-1993 Mustang
I’m thinking that this is a 5 door version of the Range Rover.
