Looks not to be a Vandenplas to me: they had the chrome directly on the light unit’s edge. The more pedestrian Allegro GT had a black single-frame grille with a separate offset chrome strip, leaving some paint between the chrome and the grille itself. Basic Allegros didn’t even have the chrome strip at all.
