Hmmm, what can this be? It’s high-resolution, to give you more to think about! No, not the mudflap, what’s it attached to? There are only 63 of this year, spec and body shape left in RHD in the world, and only 10 of those are roadworthy, so if you know the make and model, have a guess at the rest! Super-happy joy-deluxe magic fairy dust available to the lucky first person to get it all correct* Some of you know already so shhhhh!
Update: No takers? Here’s another teaser to help you along the way!
*NB Super-happy joy-deluxe magic fairy dust may not exist.
The top one looks like a detail from an art deco brass desk lighter. The bottom pic looks like the desk lighter had an accident with a British car. Sorry Scott, best I can do.
Well seeing as you’re the only guesser (guessee?) so far, I can confirm that the vehicle in question was indeed sold new in Britain, but now lives at my house in New Zealand 😉
I think we are way off on the scale. Since there is a tiny droid in a blue uniform creeping out of the shadows, it’s a starship, for sure.
So, it was mainly a LHD continental offering. With cladding. Something from Peugeot or Audi.
The second photo triggers a Lada/Yugo reaction from me.
Wow, I can’t believe there are so few guesses! So here’s one final clue: the colour is magenta.
A magenta desk lighter? Don’t be ridiculous.
A Batavus Diva 7.
RE: *NB Super-happy joy-deluxe magic fairy dust may not exist.
Of course it exists. On simply must believe (and willing suspend disbelief, same as Santa).
Damn ! .
These clues are always so tantalizing ! .

Triumph Dolomite!
Haha! I cheated and googled, where I found a Scott McPherson attached to an Alfa Montreal. I’m guessing you aren’t that lucky guy unless you moved to Arizona…
Remind me to detour thru Te Awamutu next time I go north past said Skyliners residence he seems to have an intriguing driveway, and no I don know what it is other than poorly finished.
