+1 in these clue topics I always blur my eyes and scroll past pics in the comments so I don’t taint my guess, even if it’s accurate. I treat these as if I’m a sequestered juror, no outside evidence!
These are sold in Korea as the Samsung SM6. It’s very common to have them rebadged as Talismans. Koreans seem to fascinated with anything French, hence the relatively high number of Peugeots here. They’ll learn.
These rebadge jobs were also common on Daewoo products before they became Chevys from the factory.
Speaking of GM products, I’d have thought for sure this clue picture was one.
The SM6/Talisman is based on the Renault-Nissan Common Module Family, Which in the states is sold as the Nissan Rogue, so while it maybe is not class leading, it can’t be that bad.
My dig was at French products in general. If it was built in Korea it’s likely better screwed together than the French version. Same applies to KDM Chevy products over NA assembled ones.
Renault?
Yep; the Talisman specifically.
looks like a Renault Talisman to me
Don’t do that, Chuck. Bad form. We’re supposed to guess without posting pictures.

Well, I was going to say GMC something, but it looks like I was off by a continent + an ocean. Perhaps it’s a rare GMC-Renault crossover: L’Envoy.

My guess for the CC clue is the Samsung QM6/Renault Koleos

A poseur Tesla!
“Excuse me, Sir! Can I interest you in this brand new Tesla? Totally legitimate! Only $500!”
“Um, that’s a Rover 3500 with an iPad taped to the dashboard. It’s not even electric.”
“Technically it does have a battery in it, sir, and unlimited range provided you stay on a downhill slope. Much better.”
“It’s on fire as we speak!”
“Remote-start heating! Do we have a deal?”
Welcome to Europe, Brendan, and enjoy your Talisman (guessing Talisman because I dont think that Mégane has that silver trim strip)
Well, I’m pretty sure it”s not a Fleetwood Talisman.
Agreed: the lack of Medici Crushed Velour is a dead giveaway. 😉
