I’m not in the habit of posting clues, but thought I’d give it a try. I made an initial clue, but decided it contained too much information. This is about half the size of that clue, so if the first poster nails the model, I’ll have to cut future clues down even further. D/S

Dodge Aspen?
OH YEAH. 1973 LeMans in Slate green with optional bumper group & bumper guards, LOL. Who-hoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I cannot wait I cannot wait I cannot wait. Bring it man, bring it!!!!!
sorry.
Hmmm, 73 GTO?
Junqueboi knows his Colonades (I remember the photos he posted of the ones in his possession) and he’s probably hit the jackpot here!
I just KNEW I could survive “Toyota Week”!! This car could be GTO-equipped — a peek four inches north of the taillight would reveal the answer.
Seems liek an awfully deep filler panel for a ’73.
Hehehe you win this time.
Going with Junqueboi on this one–he knows it down to the color!! The only add I might make is to wonder if it is a ’73 LeMans Sport Coupe, which debuted that year and had the louvered quarter windows.
My first thought was the 73 LeMans too. The bumper guards are right on. I just had to convince myself that those tail lights weren’t too upright. They’re not. 1973 LeMans it is.
I third it.
How about a ’73-’74 Torino?
1983-1986 Fox-body LTD/Marquis?
1976 Chevy Chevelle.
Since I’ve just been staring at that particular angle on a ’73 Grand Am for the past hour or so, I’m gonna have to go with Junqueboi on this one. (But wouldn’t a LeMans have the vertical chrome bars alongside the backup light?)
The Luxury LeMans has those bars I think. Is there a ’73 Grand Am in your backyard?
Thanks to all contributors on this site for recognizing its a website about cars and not politics. Just visited the other site and there’s another flame war going on over there. Just when I thought they were going on the right direction. Thanks Paul and Dave and jp and Ed and Brendan and everybody else for writing about cars and not stooping to politics. There’s a time and place for that stuff, and, thankfully, this is Not the place.
It looks like the rear end of an old Pontiac intermediate – 1973ish. In 1974, Pontiac went with a waterfall styled tail lamp.
