It may be a Depression-era migrant’s car. But I recall the Steinbeck novel described the Joad family car as a Hudson. The movie was accurate on this point and apparently used a ’26 Hudson.
Working from the guesses above, and looking at Fords of this vintage seems to indicate that you are on to it. Earlier Fords don’t seem to have the cast feet on the windshield.
Looks like a Grapes of Wrath Model T touring car. Around 1927.
1926 or 27.

Hehe. Looking forward to this Ed…
Looking forward to what? Every one of these “CC Clues” I’ve seen, they NEVER reveal the answer! They just let everyone lose sleep!
Doug has seen this car in person, too. We had to debate who was going to write it up! (c:
Well, That is a big clue, isn’t it?
Well, half the point is to “stump the CC commenters,” after all! Sometimes it gets guessed right off, and sometimes additional clues are needed…
Ed lives in Illinois, and I live in Ontario. Yet we have both seen this car.
There’s another clue. Which won’t help 🙂
What’s the problem? It’s a good clue, and some guessers think they have it figured out. You can’t wait until the morning to find out?
But you both (Ed and Doug) were at the Dearborn meet up. Could be a clue at the HF museum?
Actually, yes! But neither of us saw it there. Hmmm.
Alright, it’s a 1920 something Ford something. I win!
If it’s what I think it is, it’s a 1921 Oldsmobile.
What was the truck that the Beverly Hillbillies drove?
Pretty cool whatever it is .
