I’ll probably never have one but I’d love a B-body coupe
Not only saving the cars (assuming you don’t drive them in the salt) but special kudos for saving all those dog dish hubcaps!
Sam: That was my thought as well. They must really like those.
Very unusual that they are all sporting the same plain hubcaps.
They appear similar to what used to be called Baby Moons, back when.
I currently own three Saturn S-series. One will soon be going to a young relative who needs a first car. A neighbor of mine owns three Geo Metros. At one time, the tally was six.
But this is just weird.
At one point, I had three first-generation Ford Taurus/Mercury Sable.
At another, I had three last-generation Plymouth Valiant/Dodge Dart.
Both times, they all ran and shared daily duties.
Putting aside their essential virtue of providing reasonably reliable transportation (nos) at a reasonable price, these things makes me wince after seeing the 2015 Maserati Mostro Zagato featured in the previous post.
When a car sports mis matched tires, you know that it is a driver, it provides low cost transportation. Like these cars, that doesn’t mean that it’s beater.
Where is PA?
PA is the postal abbreviation for Pennsylvania.
Typo!!!! Should a read “Where in PA”? Sorry.
It looks strange to see Buicks with black steelies and small hubcaps, alongside all the body chrome and fancy roof treatment.
Cognitive dissonance. Should we do an offering ?
Dog dishes + opera lamps = does not compute.
I think it’s smart to collect a few of a kind. It could be out of appreciation for the platform, or ease of finding common parts or any bit of that.
I mean it’s just a mile or two from someone with the same idea, but a different execution with those F body MoPars.
I remember passing a place in “MD”, along Rt 40. There were three “AMC Concords” in/near the driveway. One appeared to have no front wheels.
I love the B- body Coupe’ how my dream is to have a C- body Coupe’ (80-84) first choice Regency second choice Electra/Park Avenue!
