I’ve been pulled over for driving without a muffler, but even if this car had no muffler, it actually is a muffler, so I don’t know if driving without a muffler would apply here. Such a case in traffic court could result in the judge being exhausted after the hearing, or not hearing, at least as well as he could before because of excessive noise from driving a muffler with no muffler. Oh, the law can be so complicated!

Would this car be really loud or really quiet? It’s a baffling question.

Seems to be a popular trend with muffler shops, I saw this one in Springfield MI in 2008.
