This is a treat for the eyes: just about the ultimate box of a car made to look like it’s a piece of sculpture firmly sitting on the ground, all the way around. Surreal. When it comes to one of these Ladas, that beats the alternative.
At first glance I thought the wheel covers were Roman Gladiator or Mad Max style to tear up a competitor’s tires. Closer examination reveals this isn’t the case but are they for improved brake cooling or just artistic flair?
ETA: This is likely inspired by Japanese Bosozuko car culture. And the Mrs., who grew up around Ladas, asked me why they spent any money on this rust bucket.
LMAO! I love it. Everything is so over the top makes it a perfect caricature. That wing is big enough to make a person think it’s going to take flight any moment.
Let’s face it. There is only three things you can do with a Lada.
1) drive it ( and who in their right mind wants to do that?)
2) make art out of it ( and at least ONE person wanted to do that)
3) kill it with fire ( but I think that would just make this one very, very angry)
After a long day I needed a laugh so I came back this post. This little Lada really got my attention. So much so that I did some Googling. Turns out Fullkontakt Garage is a tuner shop in Nyekladhaza, Hungary and has a Facebook page. Since I couldn’t get a Facebook link to work a screenshot will have to suffice. Here a pic of this little gem in a different light.
I like the engine bay, looks like a Solex carb maybe, but the rest of the car makes my eyeballs bleed.

That was my first thought, a Bosozuko Lada. The concept alone tickled the hell out of me. Ok, can someone come up with a Tuner Yugo to match?
Pros: With its spoilers, air dam, dive planes, diffuser, and wings; the car can now go around corners flat out!
Cons: Flat out is 19 miles per hour.
IMO, this wasn’t worth the efforts. At all.
Just because you can, doesn’t mean you should.
But points for doing your own thing and seeing it through, such as it is, Lada car builder.
The dad with the stroller looks a bit puzzled. I don’t blame him. His kid in the blue jacket looks a bit afraid. I don’t blame him.

Ooer! This is the very rare, limited-production, heavily-hyphenated, special-edition La-Di-Da Lada!
