It’s hard to guess when this picture was taken. At first the Cordoba looks a lot newer than the other cars, but then I spotted the GMT400 pickup in back, and the fairly recent looking Ranger. And what’s that in front of the Ranger? Looks like a pretty modern shape to me. An interesting selection from across five decades or so.
Looks like Orval’s has been going strong for years. There’s a selection of pre-owned offerings at Orval’s on FB. The ‘62 Imperial has been a dream of mine since seeing Mad Mad Mad Mad World.
Have only had one completely NEW vehicle. Previously owned vehicles give so much more class and luxury for much less money $.Oral has many cars taking my interest. Most of all the Imperial on front row. Ultimate dream cars for me are last (61) DeSoto and 61 Imperial LEBARON. Grand finale for Exners fabulous finned fantasies!
Enlarged and brightened. Either a blue Maverick or Comet to the rear on the far right, behind a WW2 era Jeep. ’63(?) Grand Prix beyond the LeMans, to the left. Looks like a Panther LTD or Mercury Marquis wagon behind the mid ’50s Cadillac. And maybe a late ’70s era GM A Body coupe (Grand Prix?), behind the Imperial. Could be a two door B-Body Catalina behind the Cordoba. Early 2000s Lincoln Town Car in front of the Ranger.
In my town, there are several old federal highway roads with 15 to 20 of these “friendly” used cars lot. Always something that catches your eye and your heart.
I don’t remember the name Orval’s, but it has to be the same place we passed on a cross-country road trip through Delta, CO in Dec. 2005. There were a lot of 60s classics there at that time, not so much the rusted hulks shown in this Google street view from Aug. 2012. (Note the white 1959 Plymouth Fury sedan in the left foreground, a near-twin of JPC’s favorite car.)

Imperial LEBARON was fantastic. 62 was great, but 61 was ultimate for me 🏆. Check out my post! You have EXCELLENT taste 👌. 😎
Nice shot! Hard to tell that it’s not a vintage picture.
I’m eyeing the red Corvair and the black El Camino (if it’s not overly warmed over.)
Now that’s the kind of used car lot one wants to walk around some.
“How much is that ‘Doba in the window?… 🎶🎵”

What a neat place. I’d be real tempted by that Corvair myself.
A reat and desireable selsction… however, I would go to the 68 Lemans first.
Wow! A ’54 or ’55 Cadillac on a used car lot. I’d stop and check THAT out! Those were back row specials in the 1970’s.

Old car addicts holiday picture! Love it and thanks.

That’s when your mind says “keep it moving”!!
Neat ! .
My first thought was ‘I want…’ then I realized I don’t want to rebuild any more jalopies .
That Caddy sure looks sweet though .
