Yes, the cab looks mighty familiar, but not what’s in front and behind it. This is Chevy C20, as built in Brazil and Argentina, shot by RiveraNotario in Puerto Natales, Chile. These came out in 1985, not long before the US versions arrived with their sleek new bodies, and were built until 1996.
You likely wouldn’t recognize what’s under the hood.
In addition to the familiar Chevy 250 six, in either gas or ethanol versions, there was a Perkins 3.9 L diesel, which got replaced in 1991 by either a NA or turbo Maxion 4.0 L diesel.
We have a more in-depth post on these here:
I remember when the 4-door S-10 debuted in the late 90s, I was surprised to find out that it’d been in production for a while in South America before being brought here. A product developed fully from the familiar, but premiered elsewhere first. Since then, the crew cab has become the dominant cab across all sizes and brands of pickups.
This is a much better length than the very long 3+3 body which was sold here. It did overlap South American assembly of the GMT400, I believe in Venezuela.
2 and 4 door SUV’s where also available. The styling of the Doors looks like the US 73-91 design but I doubt there is any parts interchangeability.
Sure looks like an Isuzu front end-
I’d love to see the interior and dash .

Very Ford-influenced around the front and sides.
It looks, to me, like a 1989 Ranger that was upsized.
Even has a running horse graphic! The SUV one John posted above I had to double, no, quadruple take it looks so much like a Bronco!
The 4X4 versions had IFS. I think these trucks were still available with the 153 4 cylinder.
The crease on the side and more angular bed makes it look a lot like a mid 80s Ford run through an AI.
