Haven’t met many members of the Brick community, have you…. 😉
I’m guessing that there are several (kind of) complete cars parked elsewhere on the property. Anyway, that glass doesn’t just grow on trees! At least that’s my reason for keeping an old 240 tailgate in my garage. I just need 7 more.
I have driven by this place 1000’s of times, but chanced to walk by there recently as part of a new system called “walking places one can walk to”, and so was able to take this picture. Being a big fan of “bricks” myself, I only hope each one of those 240 (do 144 hatches interchange?) wagons which donated to this art project lived a long and fruitful life.
Many years ago I read an article about a ‘Motel’ in the Deep South that was built by digging rooms into a dirt hillside, the windows were old car windshields .
So, I guess we could call this a gated community?
Ok, you win……
“Meet me at the gates at 2:45. But keep it on the DL”
There are people who hoard cars, but hoarding only rear hatches?

“Yes, they guaranteed I can pile up as many as I need, and the windows clean themselves.”
They’re there to take your eyes away from the funky balcony

Thanks, Paul!
The ultimate in Tail Gate. Made for a 246?
This owner clearly thinks and acts outside the box. It’s pretty clever if you ask me. Here is a greenhouse made of repurposed windshields.
Interesting .

Yeah, my wife would have loved to stay there!
I’d have loved to see the interiors but stopping in with S.W.M.B.O. ? .
That’d be a non starter .
IIRC it was in Kentucky,

My first thought was somebody is trophy hunting old Volvos and hanging up the tailgates like deer antlers
Mathematics class,
Tailgate x8= one gate.
Questions?
