We haven’t shared anything from Curtis Perry for a while, so let’s do a few of his recent postings. The first one is a splendid composition, of this flat black ’65 Ford Galaxie sedan in front of a rather ideal backdrop.
A faded purple ’67 Dodge D-100 shot in Ely, Nevada.
A very shiny ’62 Falcon Futura.
A ’64 Buick Wildcat, riding a bit high in the front probably for having lost its Wildcat V8.
A ’72 Chrysler Newport shot in Indiana. Mr. Perry does get around.
We all know what this is.
How about something a bit older, like this 1950 Pontiac?
And one more Falcon, the official hipstermobile of Portland, in front of the historic Coca-Cola bottling plant.
Wow ~ _GREAT_ photos ! .

A fabulous assortment of cars and shots.
Great photos especially of that Impala Estate. Wonder why they chose to mount the plate on the grill cover?
The Impala wagon must be one of the most artful photos ever posted on CC.
Agreed…it’s quite striking. Worth framing and hanging up somewhere
Is there something wrong with my computer?
Lately, a lot of the photos seem to show only 2/3 of the pic.
I really like the ’64 Buick Wildcat. A four door hardtop sedan, it probably had the 425 Nailhead V8. This car might have been worthy of a restoration. I’ll bet the motor went into some kind of rat rod. I had put up a ’67 Riviera for sale that had a 455 swapped in. A buyer called that informed me that all he really wanted was the motor and transmission. Being younger and more idealistic I told him I would wait for a buyer that wanted to fix up the car, and declined to sell. Not the smart business decision, but an enthusiast’s choice. I still found a buyer a week later. Great photos as always.
I will take the Chrysler please; I’ll bet that fuselage has something more worthy than the 225 slanty under the hood. The first thing I would do would be to get rid of those after market wheels. They are just completely wrong for this vehicle, at least in my opinion.
The smallest that Chrysler would have is a 360, and in my experience, those were rare. Almost all of these had either the new 400 or the 440.
That Chrysler makes me nostalgic. My best friend’s father bought a new 72 Newport 2 door, all black with no vinyl roof. He replaced his other car with a 73 Dodge Royal Sportsman van. The van threw wheelcovers like nobody’s business, so he put a set of slotted mags with Goodrich white letter T/As on it. Every once in awhile, he would swap wheels and put the slotties and T/As on the Chrysler. It looked cool as hell with those wheels on it.
This one may be only the second 72 Newport slick top coupe I have seen in my life.
The Chevy wagon looks sinister. Especially with the foggy background.
Must be Christine’s cousin from Oregon.
Love the Chevy wagon, and the purple Dodge too!
