Among Curtis Perry’s many recent uploads to the Cohort are a number of Ford trucks. Let’s take a look at these great shots, starting with this moody one of a 1955 F100.
This F250 looks to be a ’67, unless the side marker lights have been removed. It was shot in Lake Oswego, OR.
Curtis tagged this as a ’49 F5, shot in Desert Center, CA. ABC Freight 2-2033, and missing an outer rear wheel.
Here we have a 1960 F100. With a flat tire.
Something a bit more recent, shot in Eureka, CA.
This one was found a bit further south, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. It works a bit harder than the average old Ford pickup.
Here’s a side view of the same truck. Short wheelbase; tall load.
A 1961 Falcon van; the window version of the Econoline. Found on the street in Brooklyn, NY.
How’s this for a long, tall face? A 1949 F6 COE.
A 1956 F100 panel van.
And we’ll end for today with this 1972 F250. Someone left the light on in the cab…
Wow ~ so lovely .

The lead in photo is awesome…It’s melancholy and menacing all at once. It seems like something bad’s about to happen, yet the truck likely sits there 99 percent of the time.
Ever see “Rebel without a Cause?” It’s like every scene from that movie.
You can see the influence of the 49 on the original Ford Edge and some of their more recent pickups.
What a great bunch of photos indeed of Ford Trucks. Oregon is full of old Fords and next year the aero 1997s are officially classics
Speaking of vintage Ford trucks, there these Brazilian oddities.

And there’s also some customized F-350 bus in Latin America who did some cameos in movies.

Curtis Perry is an artist.
He is definitely an artist. Very nice work. Such variety within one theme.
That Falcon van is amazingly original, even the seats look original. I would call it at least a ’63 model due to the amber park lamps. The ’60 model at ‘J & J Classics’ has a nice looking (except for the wheels) Fleetwood Brougham coupe in the background.
Keep up the outstanding work, Curtis.
His command of the twilight and textures is amazing. The vehicles melt with the surrounding.
+1 on the Fleetwood Coupe!
Ahhh… my fave. Ford trucks.
Terrific shots, and each one just says ” Can I tell you my story?”
I love old Fords, cars or trucks. Perfect? No, but no vehicle is. Any wonder I drive a ’83 Ranger 4X4, swapped in 5.0. Can’t believe its 33 years old. It does not act it’s age.
Great shots – I love the patina on the ’49 F5. For my dream garage, though, I’d take either one of those F250’s. I’ve always been partial to old Ford trucks, and I’m looking forward to Part 2.
Love the 56 panel van.
This is some beautiful photography! I’m really diggin on the ’61 Falcon, And I’m a sucker for any vintage Cab over! Made my morning!
Very nice photos; the lighting effects in each are stunning. That 49 F6 COE reminds me of something one might stumble across while hiking in the backcountry.
Wonderful photos! Each one is fantastic but I especially like the final one, with the eerily lit cab and the gnarled tree in the background.
