I could start a whole new blog, Driveway Classics, but I’m not quite that insane or dumb; one is way more than enough. I’ve been collecting quite a few of them, and here’s a recent addition. The question: is there some way to correlate these vehicles with each other?

Not gonna beat that.
Trust Me.

Best caption for the picture for sure!
You guys are too kind. Kudos to Paul for seeing the possibilities.
I’m torn. Volvo or Rambler? They both look good to me!

Correlation: You can’t buy any of them anymore. No more Ramblers (of course), no more Isuzu pick-ups, and no more Volvo wagons (which is insane but true).
And I don’t count the XC70, because it’s embarrassed of its own wagonitude.
Do you not get the V Volvos over there then?
OK the V40 and V60 are a bit sportwagon/shooting break, but the V50 and V70 are proper estates (wagons) by any measure.
We used to, but the V70 was removed a couple years ago, and the last V50s we got were ’11 models.
It’s a shame, because I love my V50 and don’t want a 4200 lb. XC60.
Rambler for me
Obviously they all have a lot of utility.
Beat me to it. Suppose that Isuzu is a diesel?
I like the red, white and blue theme going on. Took the pic on Flag Day did you?
A neighbor of ours has three ’57 Chevys, red, white and blue. He always brings them out on the patriotic holidays. One’s stock, one’s custom, one’s rodded out a bit. Like an AMT 3-in-1 kit brought to life.
Many of us could just ramble on about our love for Volvo wagons and small pickups.
Each of these vehicles could serve as a parts courier for the other two!
An interesting (and patriotic) way to get representatives of GM, Ford and Chrysler all in the same driveway, but with a Eugene, Oregon kind of twist.
Clever, that’s good. Took me a couple of beats…
Hands down . . . I want the ’59 Rambler. 7 main bearing six, too! Overdrive would be a plus! Woo Hoo!
These are upright and very practical vehicles – squared off at their hindquarters. I am fond of the Rambler Cross Country (assuming a 195 and push-button auto), like the 122. The Isuzu exists to carry the upright cargo that will not fit into either wagon This trio is practical and eclectic – and so cool…
The Rambler and Isuzu pickup live there. The Volvo belongs to the brother and family, down from Portland for the day.
