Another in our series of Eclectic Driveways: this one has a number of details that make it irresistible to not peek over the fence. All three of the major car-producing continents are represented, and in a somewhat stereotypical way: the German “Flossen” Mercedes (sporting a nice twin-outlet aftermarket exhaust), the Toyota pickup truck, this with one of those very-eighties cab extensions, and a couple of big Americans: an old Chevy pickup and an Expedition or Navigator. 1st Gen Lincoln Navigator?
Does not look like an Excursion. Expedition or Navigator? Actually, an Excursion would make it an even better picture – a gathering of some of its makers’ hightest quality, longest lived vehicles with rabid fan bases.
In the midwest, Excursions remain very, very expensive, particularly with a diesel. Much moreso than Expeditions.
Do you ever find that your mind means one thing and your fingers type something else? Mine took an excursion.
Excursions with the 7.3 still fetch very high prices, relatively, around here too.
It’s a first gen Lincoln Navigator. You can tell by the black plastic on the leading edge of the rear side window.
