Actually, they’ve been ripe for about 3-4 weeks now; better late then never. That’s what’s happened here, as summer started late and ended early. Stephanie has processed the annual salsa supply; although ours weren’t roof-grown tomatoes like these, they were about as tall; the best year ever! So are these folks just trying to get theirs a bit closer to the sun? (And of course, it had to be a Subaru…)

You know that your car is too dirty when you can grow tomatoes on it.
I remember seeing 3′ high wheat growing in the back of my grandfather’s ute years ago. Can you guess what happened when I pointed it out to him?
