Walking home the other night, we came up behind this. Now there’s someone who doesn’t buy into The Great American Anti-Towing Conspiracy. Good for him!
Oops; never mind.

It’s not size; it’s weight that counts.
I don’t get the “oops” at the end – is the truck immobile and being used as a bluff to keep the law happy, with that box parked on the street?
Here is a similar scenario I came across. Even more comical if you’ve driven a B2000 before – they barely have enough power to move themselves unloaded.
Towed a 1ton 55 A90 Austin Westminster on a huge recovery trailer 90 miles behind a B1800 Mazda and not all flat going it was slow and nearly impossible to stop but I made it, Once rebuilt the Austin was a great tow car
Yeah anything can tow anything, but how comfortable is it doing that?
@JustPassinThru Take a close look at the hitch on the truck.
My mistake!
…as the porcupine said, after climbing off the toilet brush…
Well I honestly cannot see the hitch but I can see the angle on the truck and it has a light load. Having had one of these (identical except for color) I can say that it could probably pull one of these. Hope you don’t want to stop.
Used to carry about 3klb firewood in mine. 81 Datsun with the less powerful Z22. It did good but I learned to change brakes quickly.
