The driveway in this house near mine tells a fairly obvious story: we’re not big into buying new cars very often. These two stalwarts have been there since I moved here in’93. Now I can’t be certain they bought the ’62 or ’63 VW new, so maybe fifty years is more like forty years. And if I had to have bought only two economy cars during that same time span, it would have been these two, too. Anyway, you get the picture. Oh, and they like the color red.
