No problem, especially when the load is mini-me. A great shot, by paulvarnasi. So was he passing you on the right?
I hate to be a stickler, but the baby bus isn’t quite accurate, given that it’s part Samba and part micro-bus. (Full CC on an identical 1965 Samba here)
The tow van doesn’t look to have a full set of windows either it is missing the samba 1/4 windows too
When the rear hatch was widened for the ’64 model year, the rear quarter windows disappeared.
If your van won’t carry the toy version of itself – then you need a bigger van. 🙂 Somebody get this poor man an E-series!
As I recounted in the story of “The Mayfield Belle,” I pulled a single axle U-haul trailer from Charlotte, NC, headed toward Boston. The bumper brackets broke just after leaving the Bronx, so we had to leave the trailer on the side of the road…
A micro-microbus, or nanobus.
Freakin’ adorable! It’s like those dolls custom-made to look like their owners…except not creepy.
