I go by this place everyday and everyday I see something I didn’t notice before. Take a look and see what you can find!
A little European flavor!
Panning to the left is more suitable to my interests.
See what I mean?
It’s not complete without some old IHC stuff.
With or without a front end.
A bit eclectic?
Well that’s it, there is the ubiquitous Jeep buried back there as well, but I could not get a shot of it. Who knows what else lurks back there? Can you ID all of them?
Lessee… In the front row is a grille-less Chevy S-10 pickup, behind it is a Thunderbird, I think it was a ’64, near the trailer RV is the ubiquitous front mug of a F150, then a Mercury Cougar. What is that lurking half hidden by the cougar, could it be a Peugeot 505? Ecletic indeed!
In the second row is a BMW 6-series, another Peugeot 505 by the stairs to nowhere.
The Ford F150 in the third picture looks like it used to be an RV, but the RV portions of it has been taken away.
Pic 1-64 T-Bird, 92-96 F-150 missing bed, 68 Cougar, Dodge D50 or Mitsubishi pickup,
80s Pug 505 behind the boat,
Pic 2-aforementioned plus 6-Series Bimmer
Pic 3-aforementioned plus Ford Cutaway Van missing it’s RV body
Pic 4-couple of IHC Medium duty trucks, GMC medium duty, Freightliner Cabover,
63 Pontiac GP, 97-00 Taurus wagon, 80-86 F-150
Pic 5 same
Pic 7 aforementioned plus 67-69 T-Bird
The only one I can’t get is the one behind the Cougar in the first pic, could be another 505.
I think that ‘other’ 505 is the same car. It is about the same distance from the ’64 Thunderbird in both pictures.
I think the one in the first picture in front of the f150/behind the cougar/obscured by the mazda pickup is a tr7.
Pic 6 has a 65 (ish) Loadstar, possibly a Binder model and looks to have a drive axle up front too, then a mid to late 60s GMC 9500 (Detroit Diesel powered I hope!), Harvester B series truck from 57-59, an early 80s F-150, and I think there’s the roof of a Volvo 740 trying to peek up from the lot. Then the aforementioned GP/Taurus. On the other side of the fence I think I see the bed for an 88+ Chevy/GMC pickup too.
In the first picture, I think I see a TR-7 under a tarp.
Wild, variable collection. I’m interested in the red ’67/’68 Cougar in first pic. That was my first car.
Without looking at anyone else’s answer, I see a second gen Taurus, a ’64 T-bird, a Cougar that looks mid to late ’70s vintage, I’m guessing, a ’64 Tempest, and couild it be? a Travelall? There’s a (probably) ’80s generic GM.
Where is this? By the bare deciduous and the pines, I’d say if it’s east of the Rockies it’s well above the 37th parallel (DC, SF are on the 37th), but you rarely see so many elderly cars in one place with sheet metal looking decent.
It’s in Lebanon, Oregon. You are the only one to get the Travelall!
Damn, I totally didn’t see the Peugeot.
I bet you can’t see the Jeep roll bar
Once I saw the early Cougar, I didn’t care what the rest of them were. Gimme!
The boat in the first picture looks like a late ’70s Wellcraft. That’s a cool little cabin cruiser in the fourth from the last picture, but I don’t know what it is. The ski boat next to it might be a Century.
Too much damn work! I like the Thunder(Square)bird, though.
I was wondering if someone would say that!
The compact pickup in the foreground of the first pic is an 86-92 Mazda B-series.
