Not the first time we’ve documented an overloaded vehicle, but this is likely the first 2001-05 Volkswagen Passat (B5.5) to be so tagged. Looks like he’s a bit short of a face cord there.

I’m sure the resultant damage will, ah, buff out.
Now this is logging some hard miles, I must say.
Just yesterday I was behind a Prius V with the back filled with firewood, but not so much that they couldn’t close the hatch.
Amateur! This is how it’s done.
This Spiortage driver was a pro. It always fun to see the loads our local scrappers can build.

One more. Not a scrapper, and not particularly dangerous looking, but an impressive stack, to say the least. What struck me was the sag on that 3/4 ton. Being that it’s pallets, it doesn’t seem to be that much weight.
And I really, really, really like that truck. Nice “character”.
Only thing I’ve been overloaded with for two weeks now is CC posts in my email inbox – 30 to 40 a day, after nothing for almost six months. How much longer is this gonna continue? I’ve reached the point where I’m ready to just empty the entire inbox every morning. I like the site, but please…this is crazy. I’ve asked twice already why this is happening, and have yet to get an answer.
