Some cars have handling that can be described as spooky, but that probably is not the case with this independently-sprung Datsun 510. The owner decorates it every year at Halloween. That black cat is real, by the way, and it just happened to be in the right place at the right time. The car is a real Curbside Classic too, as I quite often see it out and about. It has a lot more paint on it these days, and the owner has also swapped its stock hubcaps for a set of alloy wheels.

When, exactly, did people start decorating their cars at holidays? My, don’t I sound like a grumpy old bastard today.
Have some Halloween candy JP, you’ll feel better!
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a 510 with all the window trim chromed like that. A google search shows a few like that; most not. Maybe an option?
Or an aftermarket piece. This is the same car at the auto-x the next year and the chrome is gone. Apologies for the lousy shot.
Cats are okay but it’s hard to improve upon the bond between a man and his snail.
Obbop, it can be done easily, with a man and his mutt.
