Here’s a couple of driveways that are honoring diversity. Hippie bus meets Cornbinder.
And this one really covers a wide range. A 2WD Suburban leads the parade.
Followed by what I think is a ’51 Ford (it could be a ’49 or ’50), and an old Land Rover. Will they ever get back on the road?
The second one shows the lovely green patina that cars & trucks acquire in the temperate rain forests of Oregon and Washington. It has been noted in other posts in the past.
Those Volkswagens get the same treatment all over the globe.
Having owned both a ’71 VW bus and a ’50 L-170, I approve!
I wonder if the VW MicroBus is loaded up with shovels and rakes and implements of destruction…. ;o)
No doubt, and these will be useful when they have to pick up the garbage!
The Ford is indeed a ’51, with the chrome spears leading forward along each side from the taillights.
Eclectic indeed.
Nice collection of vehicles and yea, I hope all are saved. The Hippy Bus’ red license plate tab could be from 2016, 2010, or earlier, who knows. The metal rack is neat looking. I find it intriguing how humans leave objects lying around, but we are not the only animals to do that.
Pretty nice .
I like the Cornbinder R series pickup , I’d rather have an L series but what the hell .
The shoebox Ford looks pretty rusty , the trunk floor rotting through the fender….
It wasn’t too many years ago those ’73 ~ ’92 Suburbans were gold and everywhere , now they’re hard to find even in So. Cal. .
I scrapped several to get the unobtanium options I wanted for my old ’75 GMC 2500 pickup truck .

Are there any mechanical differences between the L, R, or S Series?
Other than the front grille, any differences were very minor between the L and R Series, at least on the light and medium trucks.
The S Series was also a facelift, but I think the fenders changed along with the grille, and 12v electrics were also introduced.
Gotta love those arty Microbuses…
Wow! ’51 base-model Fordors were uncommon when new. This may be the only survivor.
I’m curious as to what may be in the garage…
Give me the Binder and the Rover and call it a day.
