Good eyes! I guess that I was trying to point out that it will be carrying as much junk back from the swap meet that the two large trucks will, i.e. mostly air, but I’ll toddle off back to my nap now. Nice Firebird though.
I’m thinking that I might take the hack saw out and make a trailer out of the old dear, when her mighty 2.0 gives up the ghost. I would be the only kid on the block with a Grabber Green Focus trailer.
I would be worried about messing up the vintage license plate on the Firebird with a trailer hitch. Maybe they use their Firebird to tow their hypothetical log splitter or a trailer to the dump.
Wow, yellow really works on that hardtop. People say red attracts cops? Psshh… My first car was yellow, and I swore I’d never subject myself to that kind of (negative) attention again. That ‘bird has me reconsidering my stance more than I’d like to admit.
Well yeah, you can stack 2×4’s and long pipes etc up and over the back seat and rear deck. No point putting that stuff on the trailer which is carrying the cement and cinder blocks.
Nice. ’69 Firebird convertibles were rare even back when. Looks like this one actually gets driven and used. Wonder if it’s an OHC 6?
Same effect happening at car shows too, this being me in a sea of truckdom at the Dearborn 2016 show,
But your car doesn’t have a tow hitch; the Firebird does!

He pushes his trailer with the FRONT bumper, my friend. He’s just that good!
Focus Wagon, pretty rare. Looks to be in great shape.

with a yellow convertible fbird my hope (and expecation) is that it tows a sailboat, ski-doo, or (perish the thought) a dirt bike.
It is curbside classic yellow. Paul could use this to tow 4 tons of construction supplies all at once. It would help to keep wear off his F100.
Top down hauling is the way to go!

Just needs a lumber rack, and then forget about the trailer. The concrete goes in the trunk; better traction that way.
My 1st car was a yellow Cyclone GT, a yellow car ALWAYS catches my eye and I am on the lookout for a near new Mustang in yellow.
BTW, there is a company in Tallahassee, Florida that “converts” late model Camaros into Firebirds, with all the required styling cues.
I’ve seen those cars at various Carlisle car shows. They are actually well done.
I’ve also seen late-model Dodge Challengers “converted” to Plymouth Barracudas. I don’t know if the same company builds the kit necessary to do this.
Uhaul probably would not rent its smallest trailer to be pulled by the Firebird. “What is a Pontiac? Its not in my computer.”
I’m assuming it’s either for a utility trailer, or a small sailboat/jon boat.
