No, that’s not my old Ford that Santa borrowed, although Stephanie did get me to put up more lights out front than usual. This one is about a mile away, and it makes for a perfect opportunity to extend a Curbside Christmas Greeting to you all, and Happy Holidays!
Santa looks a wee bit flummoxed. Maybe he doesn’t know how to drive a stick shift?
Maybe I should consider doing this with my truck next year. Never mind; I might have to make a dump run.
For better or for worse it’s not legal in Oregon to decorate your vehicle like an Xmas Tree and drive around. Sure does sound tempting sometimes though.
A Merry Xmas to you as well Paul and I hope you have a great day. Nice to see there is another 1960s Ford truck in Eugene and perhaps we will see this one parked curbside sometime.
Don’t know about legalities here in VT but every year there is a cement mixer truck that is fully covered in lights. Fun.
Santa (in the form of Rock Auto) just brought me a new ignition switch for the kid’s car, so it looks like I’ll spend my happy holiday doing some car maintenance. I hope others find themselves in and equally good place, and enjoying the joys of family and good health.
Merry Christmas to all!
Merry Christmas, Paul and to the CC Community. Happy Holidays to everyone.
I used to put a wreath on the front of the pickup truck and lights on the luggage rack of my wifes car. I wich I could find a picture.
Marry Christmas to you all and safe travels in all our sleighs as we celebrate our savers birth.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to one and all here at CC!!
Lovely
The streets in Debbie’s neighborhood are lined with luminaries (candles in paper bags) on Christmas eve. For 15 years I have putting them out in front of her home at dusk. People then walk or drive around the streets and enjoy the sight.
Best wishes for the holidays and 2020 to the most pleasant automotively informative cohort on the internet.
(tried to post photo of luminaries but no luck).
Luminaries
That is truly lovely. Nicely done.
Yes, very lovely indeed!
Happy holidays everybody!
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to everyone.
I think somebody did this same thing on a TV commercial where this little girl wanted to give away presents in much the same way as Santa Claus. I can’t recall the name of the ad but the truck used for the light decorations was a RAM 1500. Merry Christmas!
