We always knew that once the sun comes up Santa’s work is over for another year. He seems to have finished his route in Indianapolis this year. Perhaps yesterday’s discussion about Santa and the Ski-Doo was read more widely than we realize, and gave the old guy some ideas. But without any snow on the ground here in Indiana, Santa did the next best thing as he deadheads his way back to the North Pole for some well-deserved R&R.
I will credit Mrs. JPC for this quick through-the-windshield shot. And to all a good night.
Is that a helmet under his hat, or does Santa just have a really big head?
Harley riders don’t wear helmets.
Here in the Southwest I’ve seen guys find cowboy hats big enough to fit OVER a hardhat – anything is possible with enough determination and superglue.
They do when the law says you have to. Well, it’ll be something that passes for a helmet. DOT legality is optional.
That shape looks like there’s a half-helmet, or a non-DOT-legal half helmet under there. More likely the latter.
Here Santa comes around on the fire truck on Christmas Eve, throwing bags of lollies to the kids. Unfortunately my town has grown so large that even with a helper he can’t manage to cover all the streets.
Rudolph Harley and Comet Davidson? Looks like they are stronger than the rest….
