Over the past years, I posted many typical Dutch brick haulers, like these. Their main characteristics: they’re heavy and they come with multiple steering axles and a rolloader crane.
Last month, Bigtruck Online Magazine posted a video that sums up a working day of such a rig -and its driver- really well, featuring a brand new MAN TGX tractor, towing a Pacton flatbed semi-trailer with a Kennis rolloader crane. The combination drives for the Excluton company, their entry and exit road is a great place to spot similar men and machines.
An experienced operator and his machine is beautiful thing to watch.
Many moons ago I visited a commercial vehicle exhibition where a Kennis account manager was stacking beer glasses (truck show, you know) with a similar crane and brick clamp. Without breaking them, that is.
