I was wondering the same thing. I saw the mess that happened once when a guy drove under the back end of a semi-trailer, before trailers were required to have the vertical bars going down from the deck in back…a requirement that wouldn’t be out of place for the Hummer.
Mansfield wasn’t decapitated. She died with two other adults in the front seat. Her children in the back survived the accident. The point is a good one though. There should be a standard that states a bumper must not be above a certain height to keep family cars from ending up under redneck trucks. Orphaning children because you have to sit 7 feet up in the air takes stupid to a whole new level.
When that (Alfa Romero?) rear ends that Hummer, will it just bounce off the rear tires?

You mean “Mansfield bars”, nicknamed after Jayne Mansfield, who was decapitated after rear-ending a transport trailer.

The H2 is the box the Fiat came in.
Is that phone booth operational??
I doubt it.
Picture taken in Ol’Blighty??? 😉
The Hummer shoulda been an H-1 and the car, a Lotus Europa!
Yikes!!! I just came in from a top-down Miata lunch run on this gorgeous Oregon day, and saw the Hummer. Gives one pause…..
I bet the entire 850 cc of the Fiat’s inline 4 would fit in one cylinder of that inadequacy compensation device.
It is nice to see new Fiats again, and nice to think of Fiat having the last laugh. Though they do build all those Jeeps now.
So, on average, this is a maroon Intrepid?
+1
Reminds me of one i took back when I had my 2002.. I seriously do not understand why people think this is “cool”.

Or, for a better angle,

You could have parked a Fiat 850 or Miata crosswise under that.
