Reminds me of a car that I saw in a car mag DECADES ago. Someone built a 59 Chevy Impala with the body turned front to back. After it appeared a few times on the streets of L.A. the CHP ordered the owner to not drive it again as it caused quite a disturbance.
Still, very nicely done
LOL. The reason I am laughing is I remember an episode of C.H.I.P.S. where a guy had a car with two front ends he was driving to a car show. He was passing a semi when another car pulled out to pass the semi, saw the back of the car which looked like the front of a car, and immediately swerved out of control causing a horrendous pileup.
One of just a few specific things from that show that I remember for some reason.
Rumor has it this is actually a test car for the latest Federal Motor Vehicle rollover standard. The wheels pop up forming a roll bar and the antilock brakes engage, along with the electric radar and computer controlled steering to bring the truck safely to a halt. Will be required equipment in 2025.
I still prefer a design with a gyroscopic rotating passenger compartment which allows the vehicle to flip but keeps the passengers securely upright. The second set of wheels makes the car not care if it is rightside up or upside down.
Crazy is right. Crazy, though, in a good way. Pretty cool. 🙂

I really, really hope those tires on the top side are Firestone.

Lots of peeps have been busy butchering cars and trucks….
An answer to a question that nobody ever asked…
Now that is creativity! The truck too – imagine the reactions! … Even the font in the tab on Firefox writes upside down. Hrm..

Almost over. Only have to white-knuckle it for another 15 minutes or so till noon arrives…
Re: “Even the font in the tab on Firefox writes upside down…”
I asked Paul to wait ’til today to post this piece as part of the first day of April festivities.
Tomorrow, I’ll reveal how I was able to turn the title font upside down… 🙂 -B.
At least it looks like the dog is having fun. This is soooo cool!
Reminds me of a toy I found years ago in a thrift shop. A boat that flips upside down to be a racer. Don’t have it anymore, d’oh.
Well, my 1995 F150 has always felt like it has a very high center of gravity….
Only trouble is if it ever actually flips over no one will notice
Happy “Day after April Fools Day” !
As promised, here’s the link to create “upside down” text:

I don’t know why the website name they use is so obscure… 😉
