Well, we’re back online again after our new “virtual private server” kernel panicked — we had to have it breath in a paper bag for a bit to get it to revive. Sometimes upgrades that look good on paper have, um, “hidden issues.” We’re still tinkering under the hood to see if we can figure out what’s triggering the CEL, so if we go down again, just keep checking until we’re back.
Curbside Teething Troubles

Our dear new Virtual Private Server is acting more like a very Real Public Brat.
But I’m smitten with that blown Vega, so maybe this most recent tantrum was worth it.
Holy Bottom-end Batman!
I think it may need a touch more fuel and air.
Sticking automatic choke.
That’s how it is; goes like hell, cold…then floods and stalls out, usually in the middle of a busy intersection. Pop the air-cleaner; jiggle the linkage.
And if that don’t work…smack the carb with a small hammer. It may not fix things, but it sure feels gooooood….
Just let me know if I’m on the correct side of the road, otherwise we’ll stick with the oneway streets.
Totally appreciate the fantastic job you and the team do Paul, thank you! Have made a donation to the cause – not much, but it’s all I can afford. CC remains my favourite website ever, and the ONLY one I would ever consider paying for or donating to. Now, having been in Europe for 4 wks and then sick for the last 2 wks, I’m only 35 pages behind the current posts, so back to catching up now! And thank you again to all involved 🙂
I’ll donate via ad-clicking.
Big hat tip to you all for keeping CC going. *toast*
Every time I come back its going I must just time it right
