Apparently CC’s email notification system, which I never use but a good many of our readers do use, apparently crapped out in late November or so. CC’s volunteer techie Ed Stembridge is under the hood, taking a look, but the timing is not good, as everyone is busy getting ready for the holidays. So hopefully it’s a simple fix; if not, we’ll have to bring in the big guns. In the meantime, dropping by without an email invitation is very much welcome too.

Is this going to delay completion of the Herbie beetle Ed?
Oh, you’re cruel, Doug!
Just replace it with a small block Chevy.
Are you suggesting an SS, err… Holden transplant? 😉
For those who use an RSS Feed reader, you can get the article feed by using this:
https://www.curbsideclassic.com/feed/
I use it in Thunderbird to keep up to date on things here more than I do the email.
+1 on using the feed. You can just dump curbsideclassic.com into most feed readers, which will find the feed for you. I read CC this way in Feedly, my favorite reader.
Thanks for this. I haven’t been getting any thing for a while. I have Thunderbird on my P.C. So this’ll help! ?
I’ve been getting emails. Are you sure it’s just not user error? I know I forget to check the box for notifications.
I normally don’t use the feature, but after subscribing and getting the confirmation email, I’ve not gotten any further emails, despite several new posts and comments going up.
You’re right, just came back and no emails.
No, not user error, I make SURE that I tick both boxes, and I haven’t got any email for weeks.
Don’t need no stinkin’ RSS feed! I’m here 2-3x/day, along with Hemmings Blog and Just A Car Guy. My three go-to sites to help keep my sanity. Always great articles, Paul. Thanks!
That photo reminds me when I attended the Australian round of the World Rally Championship at Perth in the mid 1990’s. I had a Rally Pass, which gave me free admission into the base where all of the cars returned after each day’s stages. I remember seeing a Honda Civic with 6 mechanics looking at it – two under the bonnet, two under one side and two more under the other side.
Testing, testing.
Lots Of dungarees with cuffs.

Thanks for getting this back up to speed! Tom This deserves a special thanks. So, here is Betty Grable in 1941.
Yipes, I had nothing for five months and this morning I find over a hundred email nothifications all from CC. Glad you’re back up and all.
I’m getting 75+ per day, for the last three days.
UNCLE!
This cannot go on.
Whew! Thought I might have been removed from notifications because of an ‘untoward’ comment. Glad everything’s back to normal!
I wonder what happened to his site. I thought it may have shut down.
